We are located in a charming Edwardian house situated in vibrant Morningside. The house was lovingly converted into a bed & breakfast in 1995. Many of the original features are still in place, its wooden floors, high ceilings and fireplace. These help create a 'home away from home' atmosphere where you will be encouraged to feel comfortable and at ease
We are ideally situated in the Morningside area, directly opposite the Windermere shopping centre which has shops such as Checkers, Woolworths Food, Mr Price and Clicks. There's also ABSA, Standard Bank and Nedbank branches. Sommersby is 'sandwiched' between Florida Road and Windermere Road, which provide a whole host of popular bars, restaurants and shops, literally only a short walk away.
For the sports enthusiast, there's Kings Park Rugby and swimming complex, Moses Mabhida Stadium, and Kingsmead cricket stadium all within 2 or 3 km.
